  4. After SmitfraudFix performs the initial removal processes it will ask you “Do you want to clean the registry?” Select Y for yes.

  5. Once SmitfraudFix has finished the registry clean you can restart your computer now.
  6. Trojan.Win32.Patched should be removed from your computer. If not, you can start the automatic removal process over. It may take more than one try in some rare cases.

  4. I have encountered a similar issue on my teenage son’s PC (GRRrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!)

    I’m currently running “A Squared” by Emsi Soft in Windows Safe Mode and it found 10 instances in the USER32.dll file within seconds, although I’m letting it continue and run a full scan just to be sure……
