VirusFighter Explanation

VirusFighter (Virus Fighter) is a fake anti-spyware application. VirusFighter comes in a trial version that forces you to upgrade to the full licensed version through popups and false system scans. Through the VirusFighter system scans it supposedly finds malware on your system but in reality the malware is not on your computer, it is made up by VirusFighter.

VirusFighter (Virus Fighter) looks as if it is poised to clean viruses and malware off of a PC but it clearly has another objective, one that is deceptive. VirusFighter is undeniably a fake security program especially by the way it renders an abundance of misleading pop-up messages and returns system scan results populated with all types of threats. Better yet, VirusFighter may be installed on a PC without any actions from the computer user. This usually happens due to a Trojan infection. The trail version of VirusFighter that is installed with try its hardest to get the computer user to purchase a so-called full version or “registered” version of VirusFighter. It will do this to say that a “registered” version of VirusFighter will clean a PC of all of the supposedly detected malware. The VirusFighter won’t do this even if you spend upwards of $60 on the full-version. Instead, you will have wasted your time and money on VirusFighter which is about as useless as a two-headed cow.

To put it bluntly, VirusFighter is a major piece of crap. Do not ever trust it for detecting malware on your computer. VirusFighter may start to take over functions on your computer just like a virus would such as shutting down your computer. It is very important to take the necessary steps to remove VirusFighter and any of its related files so that you may prevent further damage to your computer.
