After SmitfraudFix performs the initial removal processes it will ask you “Do you want to clean the registry?” Select Y for yes.

Uh, yeah. The program this says you can install to remove XP Antispyware 2009 IS A VIRUS. DO NOT install it.
I figured that out the hard way. I want to rip my hair out now.
