GravityRAT Removal Process (remove GravityRAT)

June 11, 2018

GravityRAT is a questionable and potentially malicious remote access tool or trojan horse that may masquerade on a system as a normal file or application. During its time installed on a PC, GravityRAT may allow remote users to gain access to the infected computer where it could be controlled to perform malicious activity over the Internet thus making the computer user liable for any illegal activity.

The infiltration of GravityRAT may also lead to the evasion of antivirus or antimalware detection where GravityRAT may be in a position to run on a PC without being detected for a long period of time. What makes GravityRAT even more dangerous is its ability to be updated through a control server where it may gain additional functions and pose an even greater threat to the infected PC and its user.

It is essential that any PC user that suspects infection from a threat like GravityRAT make it a priority to obtain a trusted antimalware tool to safely detect and eliminate the threat.
